Being the interviewee in this situation your questions aren’t limited but you have to make sure that they are reasonable. Before you work for somebody you have a couple concerns. My first question off the jump would probably be “Do you receive any benefits while working for this company?” because you want to be able to be stable while you’re working for them. Next, would be “ Do I need to provide anything for this position and if I do what does it have to be?” You just can’t apply for a position like that and not expect that you might have to provide things for the company to grow. Most people won’t ask questions already involving the current employees but I want to know what kind of people that I’m working with. So my third question would be “Do you guys have introverted employees or extroverted employees?” I would share stories that have to do with incredible teamwork and d-escalating a conflict because those are the situations you deal with in the workplace the most. I’ll share with them the time I was working at Taco Bell and a customer came in screaming and yelling about their food not being right. I simply asked them to calm down in the beginning but it didn’t work. I was calm throughout the whole situation and I asked them what they ordered. They started to slowly calm down because I wasn’t responding with an attitude so it got them to simmer down. I told them I’ll get them the right food with no charge and that the error is on us as a kitchen because nobody’s food should be wrong. The next one would be a group project I encountered in college involving a disagreement between my two partners. Knowing we had to get the work done I had to make sure that we still were on task of completing the project so we could pass. So I had to remind my partners that they have to put that beside them so we can work as a collective. When they considered my idea , they agreed with me and we were able to pass our project. Lastly , I would import a football story that included big time patience and teamwork. This occurred when my team started off 1-4 and the locker room was lost. I felt like as a team we were missing that spark that could’ve helped us. I said to myself why not be that person that they can feed off of. We had a team meeting and I got a chance to stand up there and speak to them. Believe it or not it worked and we went on to win the state championship that year finishing 6-5. While interviewing someone you would want to know their background and what they stand for as a human being. Knowing their character can tell you a lot about them. They’ll definitely start the interview off with “Tell me about yourself?”. After they get a feel with me they’ll start to ask questions that involve the job. Next, would probably be “ What made you interview for this job?”. You would love to know their interest in the job to see how seriously they take it. You have to hire someone who will be willing to stay for a long time because you just don’t want employees leaving left and right. So that would gather the last question “How long do you plan on staying at this job?”. There’s really nothing to question amongst the sample job script. I just feel like it’s set at that and there’s no confusion for it at all. Most of it is self explanatory even with the details provided. If I’m being honest I would have 1 question involving false advertisement because that happens alot in these companies nowadays just to draw some publicity.
