Zine Statement

My zine idea was actually influenced by my dad when I told him about the project because he said being in the school field as a teacher students don’t understand how important it is to communicate due to their parents spoiling them at home. I thought to myself that’s a great way to execute this idea. So then I came with the brochure idea and then the highlighter mismatch came from the inspiration of little kids deeming my dad being a teacher. I knew I had to touch on the basics of communication because of the audience I was targeting. I also wanted to touch on the audience that deals with social anxiety. In our generation young teens shy away from communication doing little things like for example : ordering food , talking to teachers , and not having conversations with their parents. We have to make sure they understand why they should be doing these small things.
